Max is a purebred German shepherd, a gorgeous boy who’s seven years old, good with kids and used to living in a busy household with cats (though he’s probably not so good with other dogs). He’s even been to obedience training. He came to the SPCA with his sister, Sam, and while he’s fine with her, should someone want the pair, they don’t need to go together.

You can find Max at the North Taranaki SPCA, 75 Colson Road, New Plymouth, or ring 758-2053 for more information. Hours are Mon- Sat, 10am-4pm (closed Sundays and public holidays)
