MOSCOW – Any dachshund owner knows the feisty breed rarely backs off from a challenge, but one in Russia is taking that reputation to new heights – or depths.
The dog named Boniface is learning how to scuba dive.
Owner Sergei Gorbunov, a professional diver in the Pacific Coast city of Vladivostok had a diving suit complete with helmet made for the dog and is teaching him the tricks of the trade.
In a recent demonstration, Boniface barked eagerly as Gorbunov readied the equipment and uncomplainingly endured being hung upside- down as Gorbunov fitted the suit on him.
Once underwater, he seemed to have a different outlook, emitting some high-pitched whines.
Gobunov said, “Underwater, I don’t think he experiences any stress.”

Tim Shaw is a brave man. There can’t be many guys who would expose themselves so wholly to the cameras in the name of journalism. The very average thirty-something married father of two has set himself the task of exploring the lengths some men will go to in the pursuit of physical perfection, and in doing so he placed his own pretty ordinary body under the spotlight.
In this third of four programmes, five-pints-a-night and zero exercise Tim was focusing on his hairy, slightly flabby, but by no means fat, belly and finding out how to achieve the elusive smooth, toned six-pack abs paraded by the underwear models.
If you thought vanity and cosmetic enhancement was a female domain, think again. With so much finely honed and perfectly groomed male flesh on public display – from David Beckham in his Y-fronts to Daniel Craig’s super-sculpted Bond – men are apparently feeling the pressure to look great.
Game Tim – who was apparently employing penis-enlargement techniques on last week’s show – put himself in a male line-up of different types of tummies, from skinny and hairless to beer- filled and hirsute, to be assessed by a group of giggly hyper-critical women. Their remarks were less than complimentary.
So Tim met a bunch of scary extreme weight-trainers, who made him pick up lorry tyres and trucks, to get some tips on toning those abs and found out what Men’s Health magazine looks for in a cover model.
Then he boosted his diet by guzzling hideous powdered protein drinks, gagged on raw eggs and gave himself painful muscle cramps with an electronic toning belt. And his belly did start shrinking. What was most interesting was his mental health

Max is a purebred German shepherd, a gorgeous boy who’s seven years old, good with kids and used to living in a busy household with cats (though he’s probably not so good with other dogs). He’s even been to obedience training. He came to the SPCA with his sister, Sam, and while he’s fine with her, should someone want the pair, they don’t need to go together.
You can find Max at the North Taranaki SPCA, 75 Colson Road, New Plymouth, or ring 758-2053 for more information. Hours are Mon- Sat, 10am-4pm (closed Sundays and public holidays)

It may not be free however if you can turn those hits into sales you can build a dominating, money-making monster. I am a very big fan of utilizing all of the 3rd party tools to do your marketing for you. It will cost money, however any decent marketing tactic will. Once your campaigning has begun you will notice the exponential increase in hits as your website builds the momentum needed to succeed.
I like to use google adsence, Shopzilla, pricegrabber, amazon sellers central, and ebay. Sure these cost the most money to advertise with but is is because they are the best and they will bring the most hits to your site. There are hundreds more worthy of trying. If you get the hits from your targeted audience you must be able to convert them into sales or you will be bankrupt in no time. I have learned that you must make your site secure.
Consumers are smart and often their browser will let them know your site is not secure. If this is the case they will leave immediately. Make your site easy to navigate.

Many people wish to work for themselves and owning your own business is a career choice, which should be considered if you are a motivated self-starter. Considering a franchise is also a good choice if you have never run a business before and leaving Corporate America for self-employment and making this part of your dream.
In Franchising much is based on your ability and business acumen, if you run your business properly, good customer service you win, if you chase customers away and a lets say you own a Coffee Franchise and a competing company, Starbucks moves in nearby you have to work twice as hard, that is called competition.
There are also other risks and also realize that location is a consideration, Anchor Stores, traffic flows, weather, demographic changes, 10-year sub-master leases, etc.

Airline founder wins damages after rivals accused him of being a liar
0 Comments | Yorkshire Post (Leeds, England), July 16, 2010
> Sir Stelios brought proceedings in London’s High Court over the advertisements which appeared in The Guardian, the Daily Telegraph and on Ryanair’s website in January and February.
They concerned the flight on-time statistics of EasyJet plc, which had not been published on the airline’s website for 37 weeks.
They featured a picture of Sir Stelios distorted so that his nose was elongated in the style of Pinocchio and referred to him as “EasyJet’s a Mr Late Again”.
Sir Stelios’s solicitor, Chris Scott, told Mr Justice Eady that Ryanair and chief executive Michael O’Leary had made a complete offer to settle the claim and fully accepted that Sir Stelios did not lie about the matter.
They had unreservedly apologised and agreed to pay him damages and his legal costs.
Mr Scott said Sir Stelios asked the defendants to withdraw the advertisements and apologise but they suggested instead that Sir Stelios should resolve the dispute by a sumo wrestling contest or a race around Trafalgar Square.
The defendants now accepted the advertisements should not have been published referring to Sir Stelios, who was a non-executive director at the time.
Mr Scott said: “Both Michael O’Leary and Ryanair accept that Sir Stelios is not in any way responsible for EasyJet’s management’s continuing failure to publish weekly details of their on-time stats.”
Sir Stelios’ representatives said the sum offered was A[pounds sterling]50,100, which Sir Stelios would donate to his philanthropic foundation.
However, in societies and nations consuming larger quantities of fish, high in essential fatty acids (EFAs), experience lower rates of major depression. Furthermore, higher concentrations of DHA (major brain PUFA) in red blood cell membranes and higher EPA to AA (higher omega-3 than omega-6) ratios in plasma have been associated with less severe levels of depression.
It has been seen in scientific studies that there are lower concentrations of total PUFAs and a higher ratio of high levels of omega-6 polyunsaturated fatty acids to omega-3 PUFAs in participants with depression. However, in Western countries the intake of PUFAs has decreased and a steady rise in fried and fast-foods, vegetable and seed oils and a variety of commercially prepared baked goods. An Omega-3 deficiency in rat brain has been associated with decreased learning ability and cognitive performance but improves with Omega-3 addition along with the improvement of the mood state. This is due to the fact that the activity of some neurotransmitters involved in psychiatric disorders affects the metabolism of PUFAs.
